As the pressure to build on Brownfield instead of Greenfield sites increases, it is more likely that sites with previous contamination will be redeveloped. It is therefore important to determine the level of contamination present by carrying out a full site investigation and direct sampling on site of potentially contaminated areas. The results can be used to determine the remedial treatment required to allow the land to be developed.
