Sponsored by Scottish Enterprise and supported by Scottish Building Federation, The Scottish Construction Centre (SCC) has announced a March series of one-day awareness raising workshops on the ‘lean thinking’ approach to Construction.
These workshops provide an introduction not just to lean thinking, but to ‘lean doing’. Delegates gain insight into: critical success factors of lean implementation; reducing project lead times by up to 30 per cent; increasing turnover by up to 30 per cent and profit by 50 per cent; and creating efficient companies with sustainable and rising profits.
Events will take place on 18 March 2008, University of Dundee; 20 March 2008, Glasgow Caledonian University; 26 March 2008, Science Centre, Aberdeen; 27 March 2008, Quality Hotel Edinburgh Airport. The Workshops will be presented by two of the lead organisations in this field. BRE/CLIP will present at Edinburgh and Aberdeen, Lean Practitioners at Glasgow and Dundee.
