ManuBuild, the EU funded construction initiative looking to transform the manufacturing industry, has announced a programme for its 1st international conference, Transformation of the Industry: Open Building Manufacturing, to be held on 25-26 April 2007 at the Doelen Congress Centre, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The two day programme will be opened by the Mayor of Rotterdam and will include presentations from a number of leading organisations from a broad EU base and keynote speakers from Japan and USA, where the construction industry is considered to be technically more sophisticated than in Europe.
Conference topics are related to open systems to deliver manufactured buildings and include: concepts for manufactured buildings; business processes; production technology and automation; information and communication technology; training; and system integration.
